NOTICE: When attending events at /or volunteering at Beach Elementary please utilize the school parking lot and if you find it necessary to park on Old Bayside, D Street, or 13th Street to PLEASE do not block mailboxes, driveways, or park in residential yards.

Town meetings are now available through LIVE STREAMING, providing the opportunity for Residents to attend Town meetings from any location in real time.  Residents are encouraged to subscribe to the Channel to receive updates of LIVE meetings as they take place.  To connect to the Town Channel, click here .

State Highway Fishing Creek Bridge is nearing completion within the next 2 weeks as final paving and signage work are being completed.

May 21– STEAK DINNER. May 21– AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP ELECTION/MEETING. All members of the American Legion Auxiliary Stallings-Williams Post 206 are encouraged to attend the regular meeting and election starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Upper Level Meeting Hall at the American Legion 206 Post on Route 260 in Chesapeake Beach.  For information, call 410-257-9878.  http://post206.legionsites.com/

May 22 from 9 am-11:30 am.  The Calvert Alliance Against Substance Abuse and Calvert County overdose intervention team will hold a Drug-Free workplace training workshop to educate local business owners on the signs and symptoms of substance abuse. The free event will be held at Harriett E. Brown Community Center at 901 Dares Beach Rd. Prince Frederick.

May 25-27 – 8th Annual Stars & Stripes Festival, Honoring our Fallen Heroes. For more information and a schedule of events, click here .  Volunteers are needed for Stars & Stripes opening ceremony at Veterans’ Park on May 25th and Family Fun Day on May 26th at Kellam’s Field. May 26 – Stars and Stripes Festival 1 – 5:30PM Kellam’s field, 4-6 CBOCS volunteers needed. View all 3 Community Murals painted by Beach Elementary Students.

June 1 – CBOCS Oyster transfer from Fishing Creek to Old Rock Reef – spat counting -Abner’s Boat Yard, 10AM – Noon – 25 volunteers needed – pizza at noon.

June 8th END HUNGER DRAGON BOAT RACES at the North Beach boardwalk. Come cheer the Town of Chesapeake Beach on as they race to maintain the Mayor’s Cup.

BINGO!!! Come and join your friends and neighbors and support your local first responders at the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department. Bingo is held every Tuesday. Doors open at 6:00 and games start at 7:30. Food and drinks are available for purchase. Last game of the night is the Jackpot with possible prize of $1000. All proceeds go to support the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department.

North Beach VFD Auxiliary’s Yard Sale will be held from 8:00 am until 12:00pm on every 2nd Saturday of the month from April to October. Please contact Diana after 5:00pm, at 410/231-1775 to  reserve a table.

September 14 from 12 pm – 5pm. Taste the Beaches @ Kellams Field. Reserve your vendor space today!  The third annual Taste the Beaches event, attracting an estimated 2,000 attendees annually, is an outdoor festival with a community block party vibe; showcasing local businesses, restaurants, venues and attractions available in the Towns of Chesapeake Beach and North Beach. Event sponsored by the Town of Chesapeake Beach and the Town of North Beach. All vendors are welcome with priority given to food vendors in the Twin Beaches of Chesapeake Beach and North Beach.  Apply by emailing taste@chesapeakebeachmd.gov or Click Here to access the online form and enter code TTB2019 for a 20% discount for applications submitted by July 1, 2019.
