NOTICE from our Ladies of Charity Food Pantry: Our hope is to serve those in need, recognizing that some of those in need right now may not have considered visiting a food pantry before.  We will welcome any furloughed workers during our regular Pantry hours or attempt to make arrangements outside of regular hours to serve those in crisis right now.  Are you IMPACTED BY THE GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN?  Will a few free groceries help you stretch your dwindling dollars during this time of not receiving a paycheck?  The Ladies of Charity Food Pantry (8823 Dayton Avenue in North Beach) are here to help you through such emergency situations.  Our regular Pantry hours are every Tuesday from 12 noon to 2 PM.  Clients receive food regardless of income.  Please call us at (410) 286-7086 if you are unable to be served during our regular Pantry hours.

Tuesdays – Bingo at the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department. $1000 jackpot. Admission is $8.00 per person.  Doors open at 5 PM and Bingo starts at 7:30 PM. Food and drink will be available for purchase. For more information please call 301-855-0520.

January 15 – STEAK DINNER.  Particular about your Steak? January 18 – KARAOKE AT THE LEGION.  Join us for a good time from 8:00 p.m. to midnight.  at the American Legion Stallings Williams Post 206 in the Lower Level Lounge. February 2-3 @ the Northeast Community Center – CBOCS Community Mural 2.0. CBOCS is partnering with the Beach Elementary Art Department to paint (2) 4.5’ X 16’ banner.  It will be done by a large number of students in all grades at Beach elementary. In addition there will be some special activities which are:  Petting Zoo on February 2, Silent auction of paintings by student artists on February 2, Minnow tank presentations by students in the Beach Elementary Entrepreneurial Club, mentored by Northern High School February 3 1-3 PM.
