At this time we will be depositing 100,000 oysters on shells into the large rotating cages and moving them to the 3rd rest stop for a 10 month stay. Volunteers are necessary to do this and should to wear water shoes. You will get wet. Loading of cages and counting of spat will take place at Marina West behind the Waterpark. 16 volunteers needed. We took a survey and collection of the oysters on the Old Rock Reef in August and September. This is the first time we have actually seen how our restoration project is going. We are happy to report that the reef is healthy and growing. Thanks to each of you for your efforts during the past 7 years. CBOCS IS MAKING A DIFFERENCE.
